First of all, it was hard to give this book a rating but it's not Kevin Donovan's fault. He is a good investigative journalist. I had a really hard time getting though the book because of the subject and subject matter. I really liked CBC's Q and read some really great books after author interviews. It really was a great show. I have to admit I found it hard to believe the allegations and even during the trial was sceptical. I had to put a cover the book while reading it because i got sick of seeing his face. And even on LT I want to get rid of the cover. It was so hard reading about the abuse and disrespect. I have never been sexually assaulted but i have been physically abused. It made me sick how he used his notoriety and fame to his advantage and zero'd in on vulnerable women. This is not a good man, in fact not a man at all. I did feel bad about his career being trashed but now have a much better understanding of what transpired and am glad he was taken down. I hope he continues with his therapy and understand he is doing a podcast on Iranian topics. I just hope he doesn't hurt any more women. ( )
