It's a touch of a reverse bodice ripper but with women finally being heard in 'Me Too' movement, it left me feeling uncomfortable, no matter that it was the woman not taking no for no. Of course, he changes his mind and they enjoy a hot and steamy bout of sex, that leads to a lot more consensual enjoyment of each other. On the plus side, their relationship really starts to develop from this point on, I just wish it had started earlier in the book. When she finds him temporarily at her mercy, Nala isnt sure if she wants to kill him or kiss him. Then again, life is short. She opts for the latter. Nala swiftly becomes a distraction Stag cant afford, especially after hes had a carnal taste of what the woman has to offer. Hell take her back to Garden, his home planet, and be rid of heras well as the emotions she evokes. But as their journey home becomes harrowing, Nala may prove to be more of an asset than a liability. To both the shipand the lonely cyborg who commands her.
