Life began in Genesis 2:7 when “the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being.” From that time on and throughout history men and women faced challenges, trials and tribulations. “For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:14). In spite of these admonitions there’s hope.
Romans 5:21 reminds us “ just as sin exercised dominion in death, so grace might also exercise dominion through justification leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” We now see that “ paradise is opened, the tree of life is planted, the age to come is prepared, plenty is provided, a city is built, rest is appointed, goodness is established and wisdom perfected before-hand” (2 Esdras 8:52). In Keys of Faith there’s focus on God’s promises that are available to believers and non-believers alike.
For it was Jesus Christ in John 14:6, who assured us: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” With this hope Christians have looked forward to a joyful home-coming when they will be with our Lord and his angels in heavenly paradise. Unlike other devotional books this one quotes biblical passages, and also focuses on relevant quotes drawn from BrainyQuotes, Goodreads, Thinkexist, Soul Liberty, and Community Table. ( )
