The artwork leaves a lot to be desired, but it's still a good read, especially for those that prefer graphic novels. ( ) This book follows 3 women after they enter into a 10,000,000 dollar contest to find love. This book had me laughing, for being a romance type book it had such a great balance of romance and comedy. Nothing too over the top but just a light-hearted story. The characters were so well thought out and had such great chemistry. Applicants flock to the Staples Center in response to a billboard advertisement asking, “WILL YOU MARRY ME FOR $10,000,000?” But only three women, Janey, Suze, and Caroline, make it to the final interview. Janey, has just lost her job as a television program producer while Suze works for a small venture capital group and Caroline counsels incarcerated youth. But the identity of the proposer remains a mystery since others handle all the interviews. Is this a huge hoax or will one of the women be chosen . . . and will that woman say, “Yes?” Can someone advertise for love and is there a happily ever after at the end of a $10,000,00.00 investment? Despite a storyline that requires a great deal of suspension of disbelief on the part of the reader, this is a great little tale. With its interesting premise and delightfully different characters, this quick-read BookShots story offers readers a lively, well-paced, feel-good story.
