I can remember going to used bookstores as a teen and seeing many Zane Grey novels in their westerns section. I have to admit that I have never been much of a westerns fan, but I thought I would give it a try for several reasons: 1) a friend had recently mentioned reading some of Grey's novels from her late father's collection, and she seemed to like them. 2) I seem to be weary of many of the genres I usually read and thought maybe a new genre would be inspiring and 3) Zanesville has some relation to Zane Grey.

If you like westerns, you will probably like this set better than I did. ( )
