I'm still in love with Nico ( ) I really wound up loving this concluding novel in this series. I also think that this book did a super effective reason to complete this series. However it did not wow me as a world wrap up up book. I really loved seeing how this story ended for Apolo. I thought this book had a super nice balance between battle and also all the important locations in the world. I loved the ending where we checked in on all the characters of the world at the very end. I LOVED how grief still played a important part in this story and really effected all the characters but def Apollo. Very good read! I really wound up loving this concluding novel in this series. TW/CW: Violence, minor body horror, fantasy violence RATING: 5/5 REVIEW: The Tower of Nero is the fifth and final book in The Trials of Apollo. It follows the God Apollo as he tries to regain his godliness with the help of friends and demigods he meets along the way. I really enjoyed this book. Because of book 3, it took me several years to actually get to this point, but I’m really glad I did because this was a really good series. I liked Apollo as the narrator and his easy acceptance of LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized characters. I enjoyed meeting characters from the older books (especially Nico and Will in book 5 – love them! sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha

Will the Greek god Apollo, cast down to Earth in the pathetic mortal form of a teenager named Lester Papadopoulos, finally regain his place on Mount Olympus? Lester's demigod friends at Camp Jupiter just helped him survive attacks from bloodthirsty ghouls, an evil Roman king and his army of the undead, and the lethal emperors Caligula and Commodus. Now the former god and his demigod master Meg must follow a prophecy uncovered by Ella the harpy. Lester's final challenge will be at the Tower of Nero, back in New York. Will Meg have a last showdown with her father? Will this helpless form of Apollo have to face his arch-nemesis, Python? Who will be on hand at Camp Half-Blood to assist? These questions and more will be answered in this book that all demigods are eagerly awaiting. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
