I love this series. I love protagonists who become villains, and I feel deeply for Adelina, her rage and isolation. I didn't love this quite as much as the first two. Still not sure why. (

Qué cerebro. Esta es la clase de libro que te hace dar cuenta que no podrás ni en tus más grandes ambiciones, escribir. Tiene un mundo bien construido, unos personajes bien desarrollados y romance con el drama justo para mantener tu corazón shipper doliendo. The Midnight Star para mí ha tenido un final satisfactoria aunque doloroso. Es cruel, pero estético, pone a prueba tu imaginación, pero con escenarios sencillos de imaginar, no te hace sentir fuera de lugar con lo que pintas en tu cabeza.

Not quite as good as The Rose Society, but a satisfying conclusion.

Even though Enzo's death seemed to be totally brushed over, with hardly any effect on anyone (maybe because he was already dead? But Adeline was making such a big deal about their tether that I would have imagined a bigger effect when it was gone). Even though poor Magiano doesn't get what he wants :( (
