Welll...not the most well written story I've ever read but it was a good plot in theory. While I don't like books with too much description, this one seemed to go the other way with not enough description and very little character development other than the main character. I feel like the author could have expanded the story lines a little more. ( ) This was a feel-good, pull-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps rags to riches story. It’s a good story with many interesting characters. But it’s a fairy tale. Even when things go wrong they ultimately go right. Reading it you must realize no one is ever in any real peril despite the horrid, backbreaking poverty. When it could feel so real, it just doesn’t. If you can accept this overly innocent view of the world, then it’s a terrific read. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
