The Time Chamber is a truly magical story and coloring book for people who love fantasy. The intricate designs spark the imagination while telling the adorable journey of a small fairy.

This is my first adult coloring book, and I feel it certainly sets the bar high. You feel like the colorist of a beautiful graphic novel. It will take me months to finish it!

It's a great gift for people who collect fairy or owl items, or fantasy stories in general. I could see families working on the story, a page at a time, for hours of fun and togetherness. Color now, and use as a bed-time story later.

I was given a copy of this book from Blogging For Books in exchange for an honest review. ( )

The Time Chamber gives coloring books a whole new essence. This is something magical for any age group if you enjoy coloring though it might just draw you in due to the beauty even if you don't. The amazing pictures you color revolve around a small story to help describe what is taking place in this fairie's world. A fairy who lives inside a cuckoo clock. It contains remarkably intricate drawings on high-quality cardstock pages. Due to the thickness of the pages it allows you to color with anything from markers to colored pencils. You will find it difficult to decide on which picture you enjoy the best, but I think How Do You Measure time & Dancing on the Thread are breathtaking. If you have no type of artistic talent like me this finally gives you one. I found it is a little harder than some people might think. The only thing that I would change is to make the fairies ears pointy and give her little wings because to me that is what a fairy is. I cannot wait to get the first book.

Coloring books for adults? When I first heard about this new trend, I have to admit that I was a little confused. I mean I have spent many hours of my life coloring. I have colored everything from Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears to the Power Rangers. I spent hours coloring as a child and then again alongside my children. When I think about it, there really is something very soothing to the process of staying in the lines and loosing yourself in a task. When I saw this coloring book, I just had to see what this new generation of coloring books is all about.

When I first got the book, I was immediately impressed. These are high quality pages with some thickness to them. The book is a nice size at 10 inches square. The book even has a dust jacket trimmed in gold foil. This really is a different kind of coloring book. It has a certain class and character that I didn't expect to see in a coloring book even with adults as the target audience.

The artwork is beautiful. I am not any kind of artist myself. I am honestly doing really good to just stay inside the lines (and I don't always succeed with that simple task). I can still appreciate beautiful artwork and this is really just lovely. I loved the whimsy in the artwork and I felt myself becoming nostalgic for my childhood as I turned the pages and toured the little girl's room along with the fairy and her friend owl.

Because it is coloring book, I felt like I became an active part of the story. I noticed details in every page that I most likely would have missed because I was helping to bring the art to life. I found myself looking for the owl on every page. I really loved the pages with detailed patterns. What is really wonderful about this book is that no two people will have the same experience. The end result will always be different and will reflect the individuals tastes and preferences.

I would highly recommend this book to others. This is the first coloring book for adults that I have had and I plan to try to get a few more. This book would also make a fantastic gift along with some nice colored pencils. I would definitely look for Daria Song's work again in the future.

This book is rated differently. There's no way I can use the same sort of scrutiny with a novel to an adult coloring book.

First off, it's still an actual book. the story is about a red haired fairy. She lives inside a clock. One day she wishes to leave the clock to explore the outside world.

She leave the clock and bestows gifts to the little girl who's bedroom is near the clock. From there, the red haired fairy leaves gifts of elegance and mystery.

The book isn't supposed to carry a strong story, so much as give the reader pages of elegant and mysterious items to color and fall in love with.

The book is my first adult coloring book, but I can say, anyone of anyone would love it. So check out Daria Song's The Time Chamber. ( )
