Snappsy the alligator interacts with the narrator of the story. The narrator is kind of annoying. He is always wanting Snappsy to make things better, be more entertaining, etc. This book is cute, but not cute enough to out live my annoyance. ( )

Cute! I like the fourth-wall breaking. The narrator appeared to have a little grudge against poor Snappsy. ( )

I liked the book. The narrator and the main character go back and forth arguing. It is really interactive; I enjoyed it. It was something different. The alligator was so upset the whole story because no one understood him. He decided to throw a party so he will seem more interesting. Everyone came to the party even the narrator. The alligator and the narrator then make friends and say they should have a party every week, so hopefully there will be more books. ( )

Snappsy the alligator was having an off day. And on top of that, he had some annoying narrator talking about what he was doing! So he decides to throw a party to keep the story interesting.
I liked this book because it could be used to teach point of view and what a narrator is. It’s funny and unique as well. There wasn’t a deep message or anything but I don’t think ever story needs one ( )
