Because there are so many scripture references I would recommend against the audiobook. Otherwise, this would make a good book to use for bible study. ( )

David Limbaugh's sequel to his JESUS ON TRIAL is a culmination of a lifetime of seeking answers to his own personal doubts. This book searches out the question of finding Jesus of Nazareth in the Jewish Scriptures from the Book of Genesis to the Book of the Twelve. He argues that in his study of the Old Testament, only through the prism of Jesus Christ can the 39 books be understood in that they point to the Jesus of the New Testament through the Law, the Prophets, the Poetry, & the Wisdom books. After giving an overview of Israel's history, he delves into a rather complex subject on the covenants, the appearances of the pre-incarnate Christ as recorded in the OT devoting brief explanations over 4 chapters & moves on to the final 8 chapters as he unfolds what he regards as either explicit or implicit presentations of the promised Messianic redeemer who would come to save the world from sin through crucifixion & resurrection & return a second time to rule over the kingdom of Israel & the world. This book is well researched & the reader can decide for one self to consider the questions he raises & the answers he refers. ( )
