When first started reading this book, I wasn't sure that I was going to enjoy it. Was I ever wrong! This book whisked me away to another galaxy where the idea of "normal" sexual relations is advanced to where we should be now! The camaraderie between the characters reminded me of my Army leadership days. The story may have started out slow, but it picked up nicely and kept me riveted until I finished it. I cannot wait for the next in the series to find out what happens to a well diverse group of characters! Great job Greg!! ( )

I highly suggest reading Book 1 in The New Phase series before picking up Phasers of Anstactor by Greg Dragon. Phasers has a delightfully complex world and many interesting characters to keep track of. Greg Dragon does a good job of explaining the more salient history, but you will enjoy the whole thing much more by having the foundation of the story from Book 1.

In many ways, Phasers is classic Science Fiction in that the 'Fiction' contains a great deal of creative and imaginative 'Fantasy'. Dragon's women are fiery and the action is quite enjoyable.

I, of course, delighted in Greg Dragon's liberal application of swords, space ships, space 'magic', and alien races as fun and distinct as the original Star Trek.

It's fun, and it all comes together by the end (thankfully). ( )
