#1 AMAZON bestselling author Carolyn Ridder Aspenson reunites Angela, Fran, and Mel for their third hilarious and heartwarming paranormal mystery adventure: Uncharted Territory. Just when psychic medium Angela Panther thinks she's got her gift figured out, the universe smacks her in the head with a curve ball. When an unidentified fourteen-year-old boy takes a dive off an interstate overpass, Detective Aaron Banner asks Angela to find out if it was suicide---or murder. But the young boy's spirit has other plans for her: help another lost soul and forget about his. Fortunately, Angela's never been good at taking orders. With the help of her dead-but-not-gone mother, Fran, and her newly-single best friend, Mel, Angela sets out to discover the truth about both the jumper and the girl he wants to help. And boy, is she out of her league. Armed with little more than their double lattés and a tiny pink bottle of wannabe pepper spray, Angela and Mel must venture into the dark underbelly of Atlanta to solve two mysteries. Will they be able to help the dead finally rest in peace?… (mais)

Angela Panther has a gift she is a psychic medium, the dead come to her when they need help interacting with the loved ones they have left.
Some want to say goodbye, some want to tell them where documents or money is that they had hidden and some want permission to go to heaven.

Now she is helping a young man regain his memory of what he was doing and why he jumped from a bridge, while she is searching for a young woman in a white gown who is lost.

This is a fast read, enjoyable if you like friendly ghosts, you will enjoy the story.

Uncharted Territory by Carolyn Ridder Aspenson is the third book in the Angela Panther series. Angela is helping Detective Aaron Banner with cases. She is an unpaid and unacknowledged consultant (Aaron does not want his fellow workers to know he is using a psychic medium). Aaron needs Angela to help on the case of a fourteen year old boy. There was no I.D. on the boy and it is believed he jumped. Angela needs to find out who the young man is and if it was a suicide, a murder, or an accident. The boy also wants Angela to help a young girl in trouble. The girl is never around long enough for Angela to get any information and the girl does not look like other spirits.

Mel is divorced and looking for men to date. She is on some online dating sites but most of the men on them are creepy (and have disgusting user names). Until she can find a man to take care of her needs, she is using Vinnie the vibrator. Mel is helping Angela with the case and is very happy to meet Aaron Banner. The flirting between Mel and Aaron is enough to make Angela gag! Angela is going to have to work hard to solve the cases. Of course, Fran (Angela’s mother) is helping out with a little celestial spying (Fran wants to be called a celestial being).

Uncharted Territory is my least favorite of the series. I’m sorry, but I did not like the constant references to sex and vibrators (that is why there are erotic books). There is also a lot of foul language in this book. I give Uncharted Territory 3 out of 5 stars. This book was lacking in substance. I want more paranormal content.

I received a complimentary copy of Uncharted Territory from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The review and opinions expressed are strictly my own. ( )

The third book in this series adds new mysteries for psychic medium Angela Panther, her dead mother and best friend Mel to solve. This time the people in need of help are two teenagers with completely different backgrounds, a lacrosse mother, Mel and a few bystander ghosts. Angela’s “powers” are growing and she is learning to live with them as she juggles marriage, a friend in need of a man, being the mother of teenagers and more.

What I like about this series is that the medium is a mature woman, has a good marriage and deals with believable issues. The dialogue between Angela and Mel seems a bit juvenile at times and some of the stunts they get up to also seem a bit unreal BUT with a ghostly mother unlocking doors for them and perhaps more to their friendship than I know about it could be a typical relationship – just not one I have experienced.

Definitely worth reading if you are in the mood for a paranormal mystery with unusual likable characters bent on uncovering a few mysteries. ( )

Book 3 in the Angela Panther series is just as fun as the previous two! This one is more of an Angela and Mel adventure with Fran being a frequent visitor. Uncharted territory gives you an amazing inside look of the dynamics of the crazy friendship and what fun crazy adventures two friends can find themselves in the middle of. Of course this book also delves into how much fun it is to be thrust back into the dating world after years of marriage and Mel definitely has stories to share when it comes to that.
But the story also goes deeper then the comic relief with Angela facing the depth of her gift, as well as what it means to share her gift with people that may not feel the need to keep it to themselves, not to mention the impact it has on her family.
Thus is an amazing addition to the Angela Panther series and it will keep you turning the pages all the way to the end!
