This series, Lone Star Burn series has become one of my all time FAVORITE books. I found them on Kindle Unlimited and so happy that I did. I wanted to spend this month reading romance novels and this author exceeded any expectations that I may have had. Ruth Cardello, a new author to me has a way with melding her characters together and brings out some of the most passion and lust that I have ever read. These books are NOT for the faint heart, that is for sure. I liked her covers to these books as well. I highly recommend reading this series in order.

4. Taking Charge
Taken, Not spurred is about Sarah. She takes a cross country roadtrip to visit a college friend, Lucy. Little does she know that she will end up in the wrong town, but right home! She abruptly meets Tony. Tony is someone that is private, reserves and doesn't care much about opening up to others. Sarah changes all of that. Friends and family get involved, but destiny pans out in this steamy story. (

Cute story but it left me wanting a bit more. I would have liked to understand the characters a bit more and the relationship seemed really rushed. I did enjoy it however so I would recommend it. (
