Robert resents having to share with Stevie, and often calls him "stupid." In the end, when Stevie's family moves away, Robert realizes he liked Stevie and misses him. Robert says thoughtfully at the end "He was a nice little guy. He was kinda like a little brother." A beautiful, sweet, and realitistic picture book told in the voice of a child. This book is different. The pictures in this book are beautiful and stand out. I have not seen pictures like this in a book before. I also like how the author wrote this book from a real life experience. The text in the book is not grammatically correct, but the style helps you understand the age of the child in the book. The pictures benefit the text in the book, but the book allows the readers to use their imagination to visualize the text. I liked this book a lot. This is an AWESOME book! It would probably be more suited towards upper elementary students, though, as good grammar is not used throughout the book. It is heartwarming, relatable, and written by a teenager-- all characteristics that make it a very interesting read for older students. USE: This would be a great book to use to discuss family dynamics and how each family is different. IT would also be a good book to discuss different writing styles. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
