Personal Reflection: Art is pretty low grade. Story is a bit "on the nose" and reductive. Feels calculated to appeal to political zeitgeist rather than tell a rich narrative. ( )

Good picture book that shows expression of dressing. When reading this to students it could show kids that its alright to be how they are and to not bully kids when they don’t do what the gender norm is. ( )
