Having previously read and enjoyed BLUE COYOTE MOTEL, Dianne Harman's first book in her COYOTE SERIES, I was thrilled to receive a gift of her third book, CORNERED COYOTE, in exchange for an honest review. I was a little hesitant to read her third book before I did her second one, but it turned out that it could easily stand alone. I was able to catch up with Maria who had fled the country to avoid being prosecuted for murdering her husband and also follow her court trial. There are new characters to meet, strong emotions that run high, and important moral issues put on the table. I'll be going back to her second book in a heart beat. ( )
