Bei der Rettungsaktion trifft er auf die zum Glück unverletzte Siena. Obwohl es bei ihrem ersten Aufeinandertreffen bereits knisterte, sind sich beide einig, dass sie sich nicht wieder sehen wollen. Sein Befehlston und seine herablassende Art machen Siena wahnsinnig und ihre Dickköpfigkeit geht Cash auf die Nerven. Doch wie es der Zufall so will, treffen sich beide wieder einmal zufällig und danach bekommen sie den jeweils anderen nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Doch Siena ist ein erfolgreiches Topmodel. Sie muss sich entscheiden, ob ihr ihre Karriere wichtiger ist, oder die Liebe. Die Protagonisten waren mir von Anfang an sympathisch. Siena ist viel tiefgründiger, als man vielleicht im ersten Moment denkt und Cash ist der typische Beschützer, der ein großes Päckchen zu tragen hat, welches sich nicht so einfach ablegen lässt. Das Knistern zwischen Siena und Cash ist deutlich zu spüren und kaum auszuhalten. Beide ergänzen sich ganz toll. Ich konnte das Buch kaum aus der Hand legen, da ich unbedingt wissen wollte, wie es mit den beiden weiter geht. Der Schreibstil der Autorin ist flüssig und angenehm zu lesen. Den Roman liest man sowohl aus Sienas, als auch aus Cashs Sicht. So erfährt man als Leser immer was genau die beiden denken und was sie dabei fühlen. Mir hat das geholfen, um die Protagonisten besser kennenzulernen und zu verstehen. Der Roman hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es ist eine gefühlvolle und und prickelnde Liebesgeschichte, die unter die Haut geht. Die Neckereien von Siena und Cash fand ich ausgesprochen amüsant. Für mich hat dieser Roman das gehabt, was für mich eine Liebesgeschichte haben muss. Deshalb empfehle ich "Herzen in Flammen" gerne weiter. The Remington���s have become part of my own secret family. I feel that I live vicariously through them, and would do anything to be in Siena���s shoes. This gorgeous model brings such passion to the pages of the book. She might be a bit quirky and reckless but she brings so much to the plot. The two are opposites in my mind: a composed high-regarded hunk of meat and the other a silly childlike woman. Melissa has brought so many fabulous characters to life throughout all her books. Each ���family��� adds a different layer to the over-all theory of finding true-love. Not being a romance lover, myself- I find it a marvel that I have loved these books so much. As each book comes to a close, I find myself yearning for another. Melissa Foster is an addiction that is one I don���t intend to break. I love the chemistry between Siena and Cash, they were definitely made for each other. The chemistry between them is fantastic and their love is very hot and very steamy. I did not think Melissa’s writing form in this series could get any better but she has surpassed herself yet again. I think Siena and Cash are now my favourite couple in The Remington’s series. (
