This third volume of the Last Man (which will make sense only really if you read the two: The Stranger and the Royal Cup.

The main characters, Adrian, a young boy, and his mother, Marianne, are leaving the Valley of the Kings to find Richard Aldana, the anti-hero of the first two volumes. They end up in a post-apocalyptic world populated by characters out of Mad Max and Judge Dredd, constantly in peril and saved by Marianne’s power. They meet new characters who help them and finish up continuing their journey with another volume to come

This volume also ends on a cliffhanger as there is a fourth volume in which the plot will continue.

This comic is made of black-and-white line drawings (in the digital edition anyway). Engaging and entertaining.

Recommended for lovers of martial arts comics.
