I started this on Monday after work and finished on Tuesday wrapped up in the story of young Bryan Arlington's kidnapping and Griff Hadley's desire to write a book about the case. Lanyon's writing is elegant, I willingly followed his tale to the end, and even though I was positive I had solved the mystery of Bryan's disappearance very early in the book, it did not in any way detract from my pleasure in the reading of this story. My only disappointment was that it did end - I wanted more.
