This modern fantasy tells the story of a duck, Dimity, going through her day. She wakes up and looks in the mirror to start her day off. She then eats breakfast and decides to go out to the pond. As she waddles her way out there, she meets a frog. They talk about what they like to do during the day. Dimity then heads inside because it is getting dark out. She eats her dinner and goes off to bed snoring. ( )

A very engaging book for little ones - my kids loved to see the little duck waking up in the morning, getting dressed, swimming through the pond, splashing in the water with her friend, and then going home at the end of the day to put on her pajamas and go to sleep. We read the book several times in one sitting! ( )

I liked it a lot! It's one of my favourites because it is very funny. Dimity the Duck couldn't find the frog and the frog jumped out of his hiding place and that's why it's a funny book. ( )
