A beautiful book about practical neoplatonic philosophy that has its roots in ancient paganism stretching back to the Persian Magi. The chosen guide for your nine month plan to wisdom is Hypatia and there is a biography listing attributes as to why she is the goal. No, you don't have to be gouged to death by roof tiles at the end of this time. There are short biographies of the philosophers that Hypatia leaned towards and used as sources for her teaching, together maps, timelines and grids to work towards.
