In my opinion this was a great book! I liked this book because of the illustrations and multiple point of views. This book has detailed illustrations. When looking at the different illustrations, they were bright colors which really helped enhance the text. I also liked the font the book was written in. This book is very kid friendly and silly and having the text written in a silly font helped make the text more exciting to read; this also added excitement to the page. I also loved the multiple point of views the book showed. I liked this because it showed that the wild is just not for kids, or adults, or women, or men, but it is for everyone! My favorite point of view is when the children go to the teenagers to play. The teenagers welcome the children in even though they are younger than them and have a great time playing music together.
In conclusion, this is a great book! I believe the author, Laurel Snyder, wanted all readers to appreciate the wild and find the excitement in going out and being in the wild with friends and family. ( )
