Does Jackal remind anyone else of Damon from The Vampire Diaries?! (

Wow. This series was a page turner. I admit, the blood and gore was a bit much for me, and I normally wouldn't read this type of book, but it was good. The story, characters (Jackal was my fave), and setting created a unique world where I am glad I don't live.

This last one really tied things up, and certain things I didn't see coming.

Julie Kagawa is one of the greats.

Perfect! Perfect!! Perfect!!!. Who would ever believe that Zeke became a vampire?. Who would believe that the great master vamp, Kanin would die?. The ending was unpredictable and suspense filled. Well done Julie. I could read it over and over again if i've got the time. (
