I love mystery books, and I believe anyone who is like me will like this book too. Will she find the missing Goldfish?! Read to find out! This was a Fiction Novel for a transition reader, level 3.This book is easy to follow but I really didn’t enjoy the way it was written. It was very formal and actually kind of boring to read. The writing was dull and the characters really didn’t display any emotion. They say she said, and he said a lot with a lot many descriptors. The illustrations are there and helpful but also not spectacular. Very dull pictures and with some of them not really correlating with the information on the page. Cam the main character has a photographic memory. This story is about her aunt, her and her friend. The author did a good job at presenting a conflict. The plot was established but not enjoyable. There was a conflict, however; it wasn’t to exciting especially for a younger kid reading this book. I like books with good characters and a lot of words that describe and less conversation. The conflict was the goldfish they won at the carnival went missing. They spend a few chapters looking for the fish and using clues and prior knowledge. They are able to find the fish with perseverance. The Aunt was behind it the whole time and her intentions were good. She says that “where ever we go we will always be together”. This presented the idea that even though family may be far apart, they will always be there for each other. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
