As the subject is cleaning, and as that subject often involves a mother's duty, I'm often asked about the influence of my own mother, Betty Campbell, on my career choice and interest in cleaning. Actually, I don't remember. I do remember we had a dog back then, and now that I have a couple of them myself, I know how much hair is flying around my house. I've tried to remember seeing dog hairs in my childhood home but I can't. Whatever she did with them and whatever I picked up from her about this subject, "Thanks, Mom. I'm enjoying myself."
