Classic Chicago railroading. {Video recording: VHS}

Wonderfully evocativesound- films, all in colour, of all sorts of power on dozens of lines, from the early 1960s through 1974. The viewpoints are some of the famous train-watching spots in the greater Chicago area, most notably 21st Street Junction. Suburban sites like Rondout, Dyer, Homewood, and Joliet are also well-represented. A simple and efficient voice-over provides locaton and equipoment info, though I think there are two or three errors in location (must check this) ( )
