She weaved a great story that included not only romance, but mystery. It was a good plot, and I was interested in it the whole way through. Where I had trouble was with the relationships. I just didn't connect with Trey and Tylar, and I didn't understand why they were in love. Tylar seemed to get a case of insta-love and Trey, although he denied it, did as well. What attracted them? What made them right for each other? I don't think I ever really got it. I was also annoyed a lot of the time with their conversations. They were just...off. They never seemed to find their true voice. The way they spoke seemed to jump around all over the place. Sometimes it was formal, almost clinical...other times it was gritty. It needed some continuity. And the sex? Well, it was great...the first 10 times. After that it seemed to just be more of the same. It's almost like it followed a script. It needed some variation! All in all, it's worth a read and I am looking forward to seeing the author grow in her writing! sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
