The story of the Princess and the Frog is known to most, but those wishing to read this story to their kids in a tech-friendly form, can turn to the app for the story, which is featured on Android. The app is a multilingual one, which offers users the chance to be read aloud to in Spanish (pronunciations from Spain), Chinese, or English. Readers have the option to follow text in the language being spoken, and one of the other languages as well. This is a really handy little feature for those interested in teaching their children another language, but it's slightly hard to follow. Since the app is meant to cater to those who speak different languages, a lot of the instructions are done with symbols instead of with words.

The art for the story is done in a cartoony style, in bright colors. The vocal reading is clear and concise, and the app is easy to follow along with. There is a paid version of the app, which eliminates advertisements from the bottom of the screen, but the app is free otherwise. The only real problem with the app, is that right in the middle of it a box pops up asking the users to please give them good ratings on the Android market. It's unknown if this happens on the paid version of the application too, but it's incredibly jarring, and if a young child were listening to the story without an adult present, they might be severely confused with the box popping up and requiring input. Additionally, during at least one place in the appliation, a box popped up that said nothing but Chinese, so if it held pertinent information it was lost.

Overall it's a cute little application, but it needs few tweaks to really make it shine. ( )
