I loved this book! It has so many fun poems that are engaging for kids to read. It has so many fluffy words that will allow the children to visualize what the author is trying to portray. These poems are goofy, and great for laughter and questioning when reading. When reading, the teacher can act out some of the parts of the poem and read with enthusiasm to get the children excited about the story. My favorite poem is the one about strawberry jam. This poem has very visual words that would be great for a story time, where kids will really get into and talk about. ( )

Overall a great collection. There were a few that were a little hard to follow, but the poetry was fun and the illustrations were impressive.
