It is a story of a rooster who plays the bass guitar. He is putting together a jazz band to win a contest on the farm, but he is going up against some pretty funky competition. It seems that Mules Davis, Thelonius Monkey, Duck Ellington, and Bee Holliday are the cat's meow! The rooster puts his band together and they had the cool cats cutting a rug. Even though his band still lost the competition, he still won the respect of his competition. He could dig it! ( ) For children that show an interest in music, or to introduce children to a different kind of music. At the end of the book, there is a musical vocabulary page and a history of jazz music. I think this would be a good read especially in the city of New Orleans. I do not like the name of this book one bit, when I first saw it I thought it said autistic, which is honestly why I picked it up. I could not believe that a book would have that title, turned out it didn't. This book as interesting because it has not yet been published. The book on one page has two pages that could be used. The story is about where the barn yard animals have a talent show. The animals perform and everyone has a great time. The story also puts a fun twist on names of real famous musical artists. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
