Limited by the size of charm packs, the quilts in this book tend to be small and square. But the ideas are worthwhile, and seeing each quilt in three colorways is helpful. I just wish the designers didn't use white so much for sashing.

If I were to use any of these patterns, I'd pad the charm pack with solids or compatible fabrics to lengthen and/or widen the size of the finished quilt.

March 4, 2019 ultimately, decided these designs are too static and simple. I can design better quilts myself. So it's gone. (
