Michael Dane lands in jail for burglary and ID fraud. While there he learns his deaf father has died, and Michael is the sole heir of land worth millions outside Boulder, Colorado.

Michael left home many years ago, after his mother’s death and he swore not to return to the father that beat him. But when he is released on bail he goes back and discovers his father's death was no accident. He has two choices - solve his father's murder or become a fugitive.

Well-written with engaging characters and an intriguing story.

I found this book lost in my kindle cloud for the past eight years, I wish I had read it sooner. It is excellent. Included was a preview of book 2 - Sons of Silence. Unfortunately, I can’t find it and I am sad as I enjoyed the story and the writing. ( )
