This is a collection of five longer stories that fall into the strange story category. They touch on the weird, supernatural, and even a little sci-fi. The stories are so varied that it is hard to categorize them. You won't find any blood and guts here but there is just enough weirdness and variety to hold your interest. Each story involves a little mystery as well as the weirdness so you are never quite sure where things are going until the end.

The stories are remarkably well written and a nice change from the harrowing horror fiction I have been reading of late. These are stories to savor on a dark winter night in front of the fire with a nice beverage handy. Linger over these and enjoy a little bit of the old school spook stories. ( )
