A song book is more about the music than the book. This one is similar to all the others - each spread has the words to a song and a picture of the button from the side that will play the music to accompany the words. The rest of the page is covered in an illustration that matches the song. We don't watch the Thomas show, so I'm not certain if the songs are from the show, or are new words set to older tunes. Either way, the music is short and catchy, and easy for adults and children to sing. My girls like trains and singing, so this one is a winner in our house, even if it is more novelty item than book.
