A good little mini story, but it didn't really seem to belong. Ash and Goodfellow together was fun, and the story was quick to get through. Definitely enjoyable though, and I recommend it for anyone reading the series. (

I bought the Iron Legend book off ebay as reviews suggested reading Summers Crossing before Iron Knight.

Loved that it was from Pucks perspective, but felt he actually was quite a boring character to read given how fun he is written to be from Megans perspective.

He just reminds me of Peter Pan. (

Julie Kagawa does a great job capturing Puck's voice in this one. I was afraid it wouldn't be distinct from Meghan's, but this is clearly Puck's book, being light and funny, and much more entertaining than Meghan's point of view. The plot is simple and straightforward, but we do get some insight into Puck's mind and it made me like him way more than any of the other characters. On the outside he is still his witty, sarcastic self, but we also get to see more depth to him, all the seriousness and emotions that he keeps hidden from the world. This was a nice change, as I was getting pretty annoyed with him in The Iron Queen. I really want an entire book just about him (Ash who?).

Meghan es el problema.

¡Me encantó! En realidad me gustó un montón. Aquí viene el por qué: ¡No está Meghan! Sí, no sale la protagonista y yo soy feliz.

Historia corta de Iron Fey, es narrado por Puck, ¿Por qué no hizo Julie los anteriores libros con solo él como narrador? Solo con él y el Principito de Hielo, Ash, en menos de cincuenta páginas me sentí más conectada, más, mucho más emocionada que con los tres libros anteriores.

Conclusión que ya sabía: Meghan es el problema.

Por como acabo The Iron Queen, espero que ese sea un buen augurio.
