Amy and Dan must attempt a heist that no one else has ever managed to pull off before, and with only one day to plan it. I found it hard to believe that anyone could pull of a high stakes caper with only one day to prep. 2* It has been awhile since I re-read this series, and I am enjoyed the first novel just as much the second time. It is easy to see why Cahills vs. Vespers (which continues from The Thirty-Nine Clues series) is so popular with our students. I especially like the brother and sister relationship of Dan and Amy Cahill. If you have siblings, it really rings true. You love them, but they can drive you nuts at the same time. This is also a great mystery/adventure. Curricular Connection: I don't know how I would use this book in our curriculum, but it does make a great Accelerated Reader pick. Plus, once the first book is read, I know they will keep reading the series. The first book in the 'Cahills vs Vespers' series, a spinoff of the '39 Clues' series. Very fast-paced and gripping right from the beginning, and ending with a cliffhanger! Compared to the '39 Clues' series, the details of execution in this story are (more) bare bones, but the plot works. Don't be too analytical and just read on. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
