This is a wonderful story full of vivid art that beautifully depicts the music and dance of the Latin American culture. Marisol helps out in her father's music store during the summer and hears many different stories from customers about music and dance in their culture. This is a wonderful story for children to read to learn about the many different dance and music styles in a culture different from their own. ( )

This book is full of music and culture! I absolutely love the descriptive language in this book! This book is for 1st through 3rd grade. I would use it to teach descriptive language as well as bringing culture into the classroom. ( )
