For fall reading, I'm pushing Wicked Autumn by G. M. Malliet. It's the first in a series and the main character is a Church of England priest who's a former secret agent who can't entirely escape his old life. It's not quite a cozy as I think of them, because the characters and plotting are more complex and really develop from book to book. But it's an English village mystery, which is close enough for me!
If you like audiobooks, the audio editions of this series are all excellent! (

Love the premise of a former British spy settling in for the quiet life as a priest in a small parish only to have the most annoying and forceful woman in his flock get murdered almost under his nose. Looking forward to the first in another Maillet series Death of a Cozy Writer. (
