Hurricane Harry is a chapter book that tells a story about a family and others that are currently experiencing a Hurricane. This is a chapter book that would be great for students the age of eight to ten, depending on their reading level. Throughout the book, the reader learns about hurricanes in a storytelling way. This is engaging as well as informational which is perfect for young students. One of the really great features of this book is the additional information that has been included at the ends of the book. It has “did you know?” facts, hurricane safety tips, as well as a hurricane scale. This is a great addition for students to see because they are able to see the important information in one place after reading the story. ( )
