My daughter chose this book from the library, and this is a girl who doesn't allow me to read anything unless it's Peppa or Llama Llama. I was super excited for us to read this together as she just started ballet. She LOVES this book. I will be purchasing a copy for her for Christmas this year. :)

It's a simple little rhyming tale about Selena who loves to dance but is a little wobbly on her feet. But after attending Miss Tutu's studio she grows into a wonderful little ballerina! Rosie loves the cat that causes a mess of little children on the stage at the end. :) ( )

Selena has a love for dancing and finally gets to go to ballet school, but then she becomes fearful of her big performance. This story is great to teach children not to be scared to pursue their dreams and to just have fun!

Cute story about perseverance and giving your all. The plot developing in the background illustration is very fun! ( )

For the ballerina types, this story follows a girl obsessed with ballet but with marginal talent. Happily, she ends up being the star of the show due her ability to distract the audience from noticing an unruly cat. Recommended for check-out versus read-aloud.
