A story of love, overcoming hurts, and a tour through Alaska Chilkoot Trail. Casey is a twin. Her sis Amelia is totally different from her. Casey has been hurt in a relationship so finds it hard to overcome. Jake's ex-wife left him and his daughter before she died. So Jake has issues too. Jake plans a tour hoping to get his daughter to fall in love with Alaska where he grew up. Adventure with a mountain lion showing up on trail. Casey knows how to run lion off without anyone getting hurt. She also saves a bat in story. She is a tomboy and loves the outdoors. She doesn't like dressing up. A magazine writes a review calling her one of the guys and it upsets her. The way people judge her is unfair. People can be so cruel. But then there are those who will love you for you. I recommend all Terri Reed's books. ( )

I like Terri's books because they provide some suspense with a moral and story. This will be my plane read when I travel to Washington D.C. this weekend. I'll update next week. ( )
