Sorry. I do not have English translations handy. They might be available somewhere on the Intrenet though.

hi. altho i'm a polish-american, i can't speak polish. parents didn't teach us.
who is the famous poet; is it adam mick________? i think i can get something of his at my local libraries. (i live north of tampa, florida.)

Hey, you surely meant Adam Mickiewicz? He is one of the greatest allright.

It's nice to know that Polish literature has fans outside the borders.

If you are interested to find out more about Polish Literature you can find it out in Czeslaw Milosz's book
entitled: "The History of Polish Literature".

I am not sure of readfing Adam Mickiewicz in English translation will be the same. However, I think that Wislawa Szymborska, our second Polish poet-Nobel price winner (after Milosz), was pretty well translated into English.
