I was asked once again this year to set up a BookCrossing table at the Kensington (Maryland) Day of the Book and Rose Festival. It will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2007 from 12n until 5pm.

Please PM me if you can either help me man the booth or make a donation of books you have registered and want to give away. If you have unregistered books to donate, I'll be glad to register them if you'll allow me enough time.

I put a small box of books in the mail to you yesterday.

Do you still need books, Squeaky?

Yes, valkylee.

I'm accepting as many books as I can get through April 15, 2007. The festival is on April 22, and I would like all the book donations to be sent to me in time to register them.

Through the generositiy of so many people, I've already collected over 70 books from 6 different states to give away on the day of the festival. More will always be appreciated.

I have a couple of books I'd like to send to you. Could you send me your address by PM? :-)

Done!

Thank you so much, Virginulia, for your kindness.

This is going to be so much fun. Last year I only had 25 books to give away, and they were all gone within two hours. So far, I've collected 146 books from 10 states and 1 Canadian province to give away this year...a really nice variety of different kinds of books--chick lit, literary fiction, children's, nonfiction, mystery, etc.

I won't be alone doing this, either. I met creativeMGE who agreed to help me man the booth. I'd love for other BookCrossers to either be there with me to do this or simply stop by the booth to visit.

Hope the day will be sunny and bright. It rained a bit last year. That, however, did not dampen my enthusiasm.

I'd like to send some, too. Any requests? You can check my available shelf on BX.

I'll take whatever you'd like to offer, bookishbunny. The more variety, the better. My mailing address is on RABCK.com. If you are unable to retrieve it from there, send me a quick PM, and I'll give it to you.

I'm not sure how many you would like to send, so just choose those that you think others would most likely pick up. Love in the Time of Cholera is on the top 100 of Cliff's wish list, so you could include that. However, the choice of what to share with others should really be yours.

Thank you so very, very much!

Hi SqueakyChu!

There will be four envelopes with books heading your way today from Portugal. I couldn't find a box so you'll receive multiple packages from me! :-P

I'll be looking for them, Virgulina. Thank you.
