Among those discussed I have thoroughly enjoyed the following books:
Foer's Everything Is Illuminated
Englander's The Ministry of Special cases
Krauss's The History of Love
Chabon's Kavalier and Clay
I've read (and highly recommend) the four books mentioned in post# 1 by berthirsch.
I'll be looking forward to seeing the new translation of the Haggadah to be done by Nathan Englander and Jonathan Safran Foer.
