Hello;
I'm trying to remember the name of a really cool bookstore I visited in Evanston, Illinois (I don't THINK it was in Chicago) around 1989 or 1990. The place was just packed with books and had places where you climbed steps and then crawled along to look at the books on the shelves, etc... It had multiple rooms and as you would go through a doorway to another room there would be books on shelves above the door you went through. Lots of "up and down" passages - practically a "fun house" of books. Does this place sound familiar to anyone?
Thanks,
Pam

I'm not sure, LilithCat. Is that a bookstore that you have been to? Do you know its address? Is it still open? Man, I hope so. :)

As far as I know, they're still open.

Hmmmmm........maybe.
Thank you so much, LilithCat.
It's been so long . . . . I'm just not sure.
I would like to persuade my husband to take a trip to Evanston. Even if I can't find the exact bookstore (which was spectacular!), there are so many bookstores in the Chicago area that I'm sure I will still have fun.
