2009: Which Book Should Win?

What a great batch this year. I enjoyed them all. I expect The Book of Negroes will win, but my vote would go to The Outlander.

What do you think???

I've only read two so far but by next week will have read a third. I agree it is a great batch, especially compared to last year. I really enjoyed both The Outlander and Mercy Among the Children but slightly preferred Mercy Among the Children so far. From all the buzz, I expect The Book of Negroes to win too and I'm looking forward to reading it. I'll be starting The Fat Woman Next Door is Pregnant this week - I just quickly read the first few pages but it looks good too. I can't wait till March when the show is on.
