Hi Guys

I thought it might be fun to make some predictions/theories for what may happen in the upcoming Princeps Fury and compare when the book is released.

So I thought I would start of what is KNOWN about the up coming book.

1. Tavi is heading of to Canim for various reasons.
2. Kitai and Co will be following Tavi.
3. It is strongly suspected the Vorg are in Canim.
4. Alera is now aware of having a new prince.

I think that about wraps up the known bits. I am happy to add anything anyone else might think of.

So let the speculation begin!

I will kick of the speculation side by saying that I wonder how the news of Tavi and the failed assignation attempt will affect the Aquitains? I think their unhappiness will be on a pretty epic scale as 1. they lost Isana & Fidelias their puppet 2. they failed to kill Tavi 3. Unless Tavi dies their chances of them capturing the throne are now next to none.

So my prediction is probably no surprise in that they will try to kill Tavi again, & perhaps Isana might be a target of their rage in the short term. Also while Tavi is away then perhaps the Aquitains will finally make their power grab while there is uncertainty.

It will be interesting to see the politicital situation in Alera in Princeps Fury as even though Tavi will be off in Canim there is no way there will not be fall out at the highest levels over the news of an heir to the throne.

To add to what Caspettee has said, no matter how much Amara wants to be just a "wife" she and Bernard are going to get sucked back into it. To what degree will yet to be seen though.

I wonder if Bernard and Amara will be have to give up there post and go to the capital.

While Amara's faith in Gaius Sextus might be destroyed I think she would leap at the opportunity to serve Tavi. So I agree CursorsFury that Amara and Bernard will be active again. Besides I like Bernard so I hope he is back :)

As much as I'd love to have a book free of Amara (just one) I think that JB will continue to keep up a narrative between Amara, Tavi and Isana. Amara and Isana will be dealing with fires on the homefront...while Tavi is off fighting the Vord.
