Hey, glad to see there's an upstate group, but where'd everyone go? Where are you and what are you reading? What do you do with your LibraryThing?

I am still here, jumping from one thread to another (so to speak).
I just finished reading Consequences of Sin by Clare Langley-Hawthorne, which I found extremely dull and disappointing.
I now started Lucky Jim by Kingsley Amis and, only four pages in, I was already guffawing on the train (how embarrassing!).
:-))

Here's something that's happening upstate. Don't know how many of you are within easy driving distance of Cooperstown, but I thought I'd mention the Cooperstown Book Fair which is coming up on Saturday, the 28th of June. I've placed it on LT Local, and there's a link to it on my profile page. Check it out if it sounds at all interesting to you.

Thanks for the heads up re the Book Fair in Coop. I've been meaning to get up to the Fennimore Museum for a couple of exhibits but the timing hasn't been good. Now that we have a long weekend though....

Hello upstate New Yorkers!
atelier's mention of the Cooperstown Book Fair reminded me that this weekend is the Hobart Book Village Memorial Day Sale at their 7 participating book shops. Most books under $10 will be 50% off; most over $10 will be 30% off. The sale continues on Sunday and Monday. You can check their website at hobartbookvillage.com.

If you are ever near Hobart, The Bibliobarn is a must-visit bookstore. I think our friend aluvalibri would agree :)
