Supposedly the beginning of Spring/Fall...? What 1001 books are you reading in this 8th month of the year?

I've started out the month with The Passion by Jeanette Winterson, 4*. I really enjoy her writing and am looking forward to her other two from the list that I haven't read yet.

I would like to get to this month's group read and also have The Shipping News by E. Annie Proulx scheduled for some time this month.

I'm about to start A Question of Power for the group read. On audio, just finished the amazing USA by John dos Passos and think I will now start The Mill on the Floss for something completely different.

Just finished The Count of Monte Cristo, still reading The Sorrow of Belgium and then I will start A Question of Power. I need to ramp up my 1001 reading to get some ticked off the list!

Slowly finding my way back to the 1001 list. I just finished The woman in white and starting Pierre et Jean.
